Updating pivot table data
As you know, if you change the data in the original table, the relative pivot table does not refresh the data in it at the meantime.
If you need to refresh the pivot table when data changes in table in Excel, I can tell you some quick ways.
If your new location is not listed, click Browse for More, and then look for the data source you want to connect to in the Select Data Source dialog box.
Click New Source if appropriate, and follow the steps in the Data Connection Wizard, and then return to the Select Data Source dialog box.
However, if the source data has been changed substantially—such as having more or fewer columns, consider creating a new Pivot Table.
Refresh the pivot table or change the data source to update the pivot table with the applied changes.
